Veil Name: Sussanah Soft and Ethereal, we just cherish this gorgeous veil. Beautiful double layers of soft ultra drapey Irish tulle falls gracefully. The first layer falls to the elbow and can be worn as a blusher. The second layer falls gracefully. Beautiful Mokuba lace is hand stitched to the cap of the veil and completely encrusted with Preciosa crystals, seed beads and pearls. Beautiful venice lace is stitched to both ends of the crystal lace and are completely beaded with Preciosa crystals and pearls. Wire combs are hidden under the lace applique for extra secure fit. The Fine Details: • Ultra soft drapey Irish Net – 56″ wide • Veil is cut as a double layer to include a blusher layer and more volume. The blusher is cut at 35″ and is approximately 25″ when worn forward • Hand beaded Mokuba Lace with Preciosa Crystals, seed beads and glass pearls • Hand beaded venice lace appliques with Preciosa crystal and pearls • Wire combs hidden under lace applique at centre front and at side gathers What is Irish Net: Irish Net is the standard quality of netting that we use in our bridal studio. All of our drapey fine art style veils are made using this netting. This netting is NARROW and the widest . Irish netting is woven on centuries of tulle looms in England and is a similar style of tulle to drapey Silk Tulle, which is what we love about it! It has a hexagon shape and is buttery soft. It hugs the body and creates that beautiful fine art look, but is still light enough that it doesn’t feel heavy. It is a slightly denser netting but more sheer than standard English Net and has a matte finish, beautiful drape and a high quality appeal. It is highly delicate however so we do not recommend this style of netting on dresses that has rhinestone beading (With the clasp prongs) as it can easily get caught on the prongs. It should be handled with care. **Please note that as this fabric is knit on vintage machines, small variations in the knit can/will occur. These variations are a natural characteristic of the fabric and adds to the beauty of handmade.
